EdelLUX hazardous sightglass light fittings, series EdelEx 5 / 10 / 20 dH, EdelEx G 20 / 50 dH and EdelEx d LED / PowerLED

This series of innovative all-stainless designed light fittings for use in hazardous areas provides a full range of powerful units to suit all vessel lighting situations where corrosion resistance, appearance or cleanliness is an important consideration, e.g. on stainless steel pharma equipment, on apparatuses for cosmetic and food processing industries, in clean rooms etc.

APPLICATION:

On sightglasses and sightflow indicators from DN 25 upwards, on sight-tubes and rectangular or D-ended sightglasses.

FIXATION:

- With tilting hinge "Sch" for use with sightglasses to DIN 28120 / 28121 for "light and sight through one sightglass" as well as for traditional two port situations

- With intermediate flange collar "R" for use with sightglasses similar to DIN 11851

MATERIALS:

- Entirely from stainless steel, including the glands

- Built-in reflectors of higly polished aluminium alloy or LED diodes

ELECTRICAL DATA:

- Alternate or direct current

- Voltages from 12 up to 240 V, with or without internal transformer

- Wattage to 20 W with T6 classification, to 50 W with T4 classification

All above indications depending on series and type

ENCLOSURE PROTECTION DEGREE:

IP 65 / 67, dust tight and protected against the effects of temporary immersion

CLASSIFICATION:

- Ex d IIC T4 ... T6 Gb, Ex t IIIC T130°C ... T80°C Db IP67 (halogene versions and EdelEx d LED) or Ex d op is IIC T6 Gb, Ex t III T80°C Db, IP 65/67 (EdelEx d PowerLED)

- Ex II 2 G + D

- ATEX equipment protection level (EPL): Gb (zones 1 and 2) and Db (zones 21 and 22)

OPTIONS:

- "Spot" (narrow light beam) or "Flood" ( wide light beam)

- Alternative cable gland positions ( top or side entry)

- Glands for steel wired armoured cable

- Opal glass screen to prevent blinding effects
